PROBLEMA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DALAM PENGGUNAAN METODE IMLAK DI M’HAD ABU UBAIDAH BIN AL-JARRAH MEDAN

Writing is one form of skill that is highly expected, especially in Arabic writing. In writing Arabic itself, of course there are rules, Arabic rules have provisions for writing Arabic sentence words in the level of truth that can be seen from the nahwu and sharaf aspects.
Learning Arabic in the use of this imlak method is to train students in listening, measure student memory and practice writing. In this method indirectly students can also practice speaking and writing Arabic by repeating sentences that have been discussed by the lecturer.
This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing Arabic learning in the use of the imlak method, the problems of learning Arabic in the use of the imlak method, and what efforts were used to overcome these problems.
From the results of the research conducted, it is known that the process of learning Arabic in the use of the imlak method at Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah Medan, listens to how the lecturer reads Arabic sentences. The learning process consists of three stages, namely opening activities, material delivery activities and closing activities.
As for the problem of learning Arabic at Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah Medan, students have not been able to distinguish between hijaiyyah letters, students have not mastered tajwid well so that it makes it difficult for them to write Arabic sentences and students memorize too little vocabulary. Arabic words that make it difficult for students to speak Arabic and write it without looking at the book.
While the efforts made by lecturers to overcome these problems, among others, lecturers motivate students, tell students to always repeat lessons at home and memorize Arabic vocabulary as much as possible.
