The purpose of this study was to determine the types of learning difficulties of students, to determine the efforts of teachers in overcoming learning difficulties of students, and to find out the factors in applying the efforts of teachers to overcome learning difficulties of students. Conducted at SMA PGRI Sekayu with a qualitative descriptive approach using data collection instruments of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a data reduction approach, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While checking the validity of the findings using the extension of participation, persistence of observations, triangulation (triangulation of sources and triangulation of methods). The types of learning difficulties faced by students at SMA PGRI Sekayu are still relatively undemanding, difficulty concentrating and feeling bored. The efforts made by the teacher in overcoming the learning difficulties experienced by students are by creating a conducive learning atmosphere, providing motivation, using a variety of methods and selecting the right learning media, incorporating humorous interludes in the teaching and learning process and holding remedial classes. The teacher's effort factor in overcoming students' learning difficulties is the inhibiting factor and the supporting factor. The inhibiting factors for teachers' efforts to overcome learning difficulties are the lack of parental support and the laziness of children to repeat lessons at home. The solution is to consider this carefully before giving assignments to students. While the factors supporting the efforts of teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of students are the existence of supporting facilities and infrastructure and a good school environment.
