KP KORELASI PROFESIONALISME GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SD NEGERI 1 GAJAH MATI KECAMATAN SUNGAI KERUH KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN

ABSTRACT: Professional teachers who have good competence and work according to their competence will bring learning motivation and be able to influence the teaching and learning process of students which will result in good student achievement. This is because students will see how the teacher's attitude and daily actions are, whether there is something exemplary or not, including the teacher's role model in accordance with his role and level of professionalism in work. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and students' learning motivation, as well as the relationship between the professionalism of PAI teachers and students' learning motivation in PAI subjects.
This study was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Gajah Mati with a population of 189 and a sample of 30 students from grades 1-6. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Then the data results were analyzed using data analysis with quantitative descriptive methods that describe the current situation.
As for the results of this study, the professionalism of PAI teachers is in the moderate category because it is dominated by 18 responses (60%) of the total score of respondents answering moderate or being at 26-29. Then to find out the level of student learning motivation based on the results of questionnaire calculations, it is also known that student learning motivation is in the moderate category, which is dominated by 18 respondents (60%), as well as if measured by student attendance in the moderate category because it is dominated by (50%) or 15 people. The relationship between PAI’s teacher professionalism and student learning motivation is obtained by the interpretation number r_y^x df = N-nr = 30-2 =28 then obtained r table with a significant level of 5% of 0.361 and at a significance level of 1% the amount of r table is 0.306 while the value of r count above shows a value of 0.762 which means it is greater than r table at a significant level of 5% (0.361) and r table at a significance level of 1% (0.306) and the value of tcount 6.29> ttable with a significance level of 5% of 1.701 and ttable with a significance level of 1% of 1.313. So, the researcher concludes that the frequency of professional teachers has a positive influence on the learning motivation of students of SD Negeri 1 Gajah Mati.
